Niko: an original platform ready to land in the App Store

Finnish developer Sulake, best known for the great success of Habbo Hotel, the title certainly known for the numerous fans and the dense array of online communities, has decided to return to the market of iPhone OS games and is ready to release a second product called Niko.
Already last year, was released in the App Store pubisher Lost Monkey, a collection of minigames that once gave access to a complete new character in the aforementioned Habbo Hotel.

This year will be the turn of Niko, a sui generis platform in which a cute monkey check using standard arrow keys to move horizontally to the right and left. The uniqueness of the product is, however, implemented in the other mechanical. In fact, to jump from one platform to another we literally shoot the character, using control systems similar to those seen in Angry Birds.

In this way, as you can see in the trailer above, we will be able to cross platforms, dodging obstacles, bouncing from wall to wall. The purpose is to collect gems and gold to save our little friends from the mysterious forces of evil.

The title, as well as already Lost Monkey, will provide integration with the Habbo community, though still not been announced or the extra benefits that we gain. In any case we will not have to wait long to get their hands on this product, since Niko arrives in the App Store next January 19th at a price of 1.59 €.
